OurVISION

Our vision is to reach out to the entire area and see many people won for Christ. We place a strong emphasis on preaching the Word, prayer, evangelism and praise and worship.

There is also a vast population of international students and holiday makers visiting our town throughout the year. It is our heart's desire to invest into their lives so that they may affect others in their communities upon their return home.

WE WANT TO SEE REVIVAL AND TO THIS END

WE ARE PRAYING AND WORKING.

We like to think that every age group is catered for, here at W.C.C whether it’s the balance of different styles in our worship, our contemporary yet comfortable auditorium, or our extensive Youth and children’s department. We work hard to ensure that, no matter what your age or background, you will feel at home and at ease. We place importance on lively praise and worship, the preached Word and on fellowship as the family of God as well as providing a good mix of softer and more conservative ‘Items’ in our services.

DAnWhen it comes to the social aspect of the Church, we have a wide variety of events that go on throughout the year ranging from our simple tea and coffee time after our services, through to our Church walks. We spend at least 4 bank holiday Monday’s a year on the parks or at the beach, just playing football or cricket whilst the kids have a great day on the swings and slides.DSC00578

Over the past 3 years, our building has seen some pretty serious changes, including our new foyer development. Every week day, excluding Thursdays, our doors are open for light snacks, hot and cold drinks and internet access. Just buy a coffee or better still, a cake and get logged on for as long as you like.

We have also added substantial mother and baby facilities to our ’children’s wing’ . This includes a lounge for mothers with babies up to 3 years of age, where they can watch the whole service ‘Live’ relayed to a full audio/visual system. There is also a feeding and changing room which provides total privacy and comfort to nursing mothers and again, relays the service ‘live’ so that nothing is missed.theatre3BLUE

The main sanctuary itself has had an extensive renovation, with the installation of brand new  seating on the ground floor in december 2006, new sound equipment, and a fresh new stage layout and design.  Also in the early part of 2007 we opened the balcony section of our main sanctuary, adding new sound equipment and projector screen, so that nothing of the service is missed.
