Keeley Ellaway is our full-time cleaner. She has 7 floors to maintain and that takes some serious time and effort. Presentation is very important to us and Keeley is a key team member of the team in making sure that standards stay high. Keeley is heavily involved in our children's work too, whether in Sunday school, during our prayer meetings or on Friday nights...you'll be sure to find her there.On top of that, she is a very talented vocalist and leads worship during our services.

Daniel Morgan is also Full-time on staff...and then some! He is responsible for the maintenance of the building, for running the house sound system during our services, media duplication, management of our technical teams, he is involved in youth work and opens up the building and locks it again each night. Dan is a very important member of the WCC team who says he was called by God to do what he does and we thank God for him.

Cerian Giorgiani is head of our Children's work. She works at the centre 2 days a week but does far more hours than that. She is responsible for organizing the syllabus for Sunday school and Friday nights as well as designing the lessons, organizing her team, arranging days out in holiday time and anything else involved in children's work. We thank God that it has been necessary to employ Cerian for this work as our children's group continues to grow!

Brian Downward is our Pastor. He has ministered under God for nearly 50 years. Originally from Stoke-on-Trent, he has ministered in various places around the U.K and the World. His main focus is feeding the body of Christ with the full and balanced Word of God. Along with his family, he planted the Wessex Christian Centre in 1985 after leaving Mid-Wales by the call of God. To hear him speak, is to know him.

Jose Downward is not just the Pastor's wife; she is a foundation stone in our Church. She works at the centre every day and mostly manages our entire administration department...but that's not where her work finishes because Jose will do anything that's needed of her, from cleaning and maintenance to counselling and helping to lead worship during our services....without her and the work she does...this Church might just grind to a halt!

Julian Downward is the Youth Pastor and worship leader of the Wessex Christian Centre, but is also overall responsible for the maintenance of the building as well as its development, so whenever there's a renovation or re-design going on here, his job is to design it, (under our Pastor), run with it and project manage it. He has worked here for 15 years and believes the Wessex Christian Centre and its people, to be his calling.

Sarah Jane Downward is married to Julian and works here in the centre 2 days a week in our accounts and administration department. She is responsible for the income of the Church, in that she sorts it, pays the bills, banks it and deals with the 'Gift aid' side of our accounts. She also keeps the offices well stocked and is addicted to filing cabinets and stationery! She is a skilled administrator who is vital to the running of our Church.
