'SUNSHINE MUSIC'

SUNSHINE MUSIC was released in November 2007 By Edward Holland Jr - who is the lead guitarist in our worship band here at WCC. It is a fantastic mix of Reggae, soul, RnB, Dance and acoustic styles. Edward is a man who loves The Lord and it shows in this album. The tile track - 'Sunshine music' is about coming into God's presence and the power that exsists when we worship Him...as Edward writes - "...Sunshine music, I am gonna use it, to chase them clouds away..." 'Fulness of Joy' is a song we frequently sing in our worship services. It has a wonderful, fresh calipso style to it which simply gets the people dancing! 'Jesus Your love'....is an outworking of where God has brought Ed from and the love he has for his God in response. This CD is for anyone who likes the windows open, the top down and the stereo turned up in the summer months and for those who don't!

'The Proof of the Pudding'-

A Unique Recording project from the youth of The Wessex Christian Centre 'The proof of the pudding' Is a unique recording. In 2003, we held a training academy for our young people in their summer hols. They were taught Music theory, song writing, production and perfomance techniques. The upshot was this album. It contains 17 songs written and recorded by the young people themselves. It took 4 months to produce and the end result was just amazing, considering the fact that most had never written a song before! The Church was hearing every week about the academy, and so for them to find out how much the kids had learned in that time, the proof of the pudding was....well in this case....the listening to of the CD.

You are guaranteed to love this CD with its catchy melodies and funky production. Every style is featured from Rock to reggae, soul to RnB.
